On February 7th, I looked through my inventory of online photos. I used Google's image search to perform a copyright audit, looking to see if any were being used out of copyright. Mistakenly, I discretely questioned an e-learning, marketing, and promotion site for wedding photographers called Book More Brides about one of my photos, via Twitter.
As things turned out, they were indeed using the photo in accordance with my copyright, and I apologized. Gracious, polite, and very professional, they made a strong enough impression on me that I looked them up on LinkedIn, and requested to make a connection.
I'm glad that I did, too.
Nine days later, after visiting my website and reading this blog, owner Stephanie Padovani sent me an email, inviting me to write an article for their blog.
I was flattered, thrilled, and excited.
As it turns out, I was reviewing a select sampling of my older work, looking for candidates to include in my galleries. I had already found this photo, and had it ready for editing, which inspired the article I wrote.
Today, I received an email from Brenna, Stephanie and Jeff's project manager, giving me the good news. Both the photo and the article were published together, on their site.
Please stop by, have a look, and tell me what you think. If you would really like to support me, please leave a reply either here or beneath the article. Feel free to share your opinion about either one or both of them.
Thank you, and have a nice day.
